Grenades

Hey eveyone!! so right now i'm listening to my new number 1: grenade by Bruno Mars. Some parts of it seem like God is speaking to me. NOT the part when he says," Tell the devil i said hey when you get back to where your from" NOT that part lol. The part when he says,"But I'd still catch a grenade for ya. Throw my hand on a blade for ya. I'd jump in front of a train for ya. you know i'd do anything for you. I would go through all this pain take a bullet straight through my brain!! I would die for you baby but you wouldn't do the same. ohhh no no no oh ohhhh oh" I mea it's true God did die for us. And even though we say we would die for him. Would you?? "I would DIE for you baby. But you WOULDN'T do the the same" "I gave you all my love and you tossed it in the trash" Don't we? Don't we just go and slap him in the face? We just say you know what? It doesn't matter. Then on sunday we show up and are like "blah blah blah yeah i'm a christian whatever" he DIED for us. We won't even die for him. "but you won't do the same" So what to do? Start acting like christians. He has called us to do things. We need to no matter what. "i would die for you baby." But would YOU do the same?

Catching the bigger Fish

Hey everyone. So last night i was playing one of my favorite games on my DS, animal crossing wild world. It's basicly, really fun, Your a human and everyone else are animals. And you go around and do all this stuff it's like pretty much "real life". Well so last night i was fishing, one of the many things you can do on animal crossing, and this big fish was swiming away from me. I ran to the other side of the bank to catch it. when i threw my line out it turned and went back the direction i came from. I ran back to the other side hoping to catch it then, and just as before, when i got my line out the fish swam to the other side. This happend again and again. I wanted to catch that fish!!! But what if i had opend my eyes i would've seen that there was an even bigger fish right in front of me. Not moving- almost wanting to be caught.

As christians we think, "Oh we need missonaries out in china and africa and all of these places" which are the big fish. What we don't realize is that China has more christians in it the America does. America is the bigger fish we need to open our eyes to and catch.

Josh and I were driving home some people from youth group last wednsday and our friend Ralf, who was in the car too, was talking about collage and what classes he wants to do (i think he's a senior but anyway he hasn't graduated yet). And We were talking about some things and he said, "You know there acctually more christians in China then there are here. It gets me that we're sending out all of these people to do mission work in a place that is better off then this one." That really got me. I've been thinking about it all week and I feel like i needed to share that with you guys. There is nothing wrong with being a missonary to other countrys, but before we go "China doesn't have any christians" Look around your own world. How many true christians do you know?

So that being said, go get your line, or your bible, Your tackle box, or memorize some scripture, and go catch some fish :)
